Ways to Give

Supporting Hope Hall

Hope Hall is a private, non-sectarian, not-for-profit school designed for students with special learning needs who consistently experience frustration in the traditional classroom setting. Hope Hall is committed to the belief that when students are given respect and enough time in a supportive, multi-sensory learning environment, they can become successful learners.

From scholarships for our students to instructional supplies and maintenance, there is always a need for which we could use your financial assistance, gift-in-kind, or volunteer help.

To make a gift to Hope Hall, contact our Development Office at (585) 426-5824 and see our contribution form here. Remember, your gift may be tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!

Annual AppealThe Future Full of Hope Appeal enables children who once dreaded school to experience the joy of learning. The actual cost to educate each child at Hope Hall is $15,000. Our tuition is $5,o00 for grades 3-8 and $5,500 for grades 9-12, leaving a deficit of approximately $10,000. Every dollar from our Future Full of Hope Appeal is used to make up this deficit and provide tuition assistance in the form of scholarships for children who need them.

United Way
Ask your United Way Campaign Coordinator for a pledge form. In the appropriate section, record the portion of your donation that you would like to go to “this organization:” HOPE HALL, “ID#” 2108.

Scholarship Program
Our tuition is $5,000 for grades 3-8; $5,500 for grades 9-12. We need to keep our tuition as affordable as possible because more than 80% of our families live at or below the poverty level as defined by HUD. The Scholarship program allows us to help the children who need our program but whose families are unable to pay the tuition. All donations to this program go directly to family tuition needs.

Path to Hope
Path to Hope offers donors an opportunity to purchase personalized bricks for our outside walkway for $100 each. These bricks provide a lasting tribute and a unique way to honor loved ones or to commemorate a special occasion. All proceeds from the Path to Hope walkway support the Building upkeep, repairs and renovations. Find the Path to Hope Order Form here.

Connections to Hope
Connections to Hope offers donors an opportunity to purchase personalized bricks for our inside walkway for $500 each. These bricks provide a lasting tribute and a unique way to honor loved ones or to commemorate a special occasion. Likewise, businesses have the opportunity to bring awareness of their company to those who come to Hope Hall. All proceeds from the Connections to Hope walkway support Hope Hall’s mission to serve students with special learning needs through their high school years. Find the Connections to Hope Order Form here.

Legacy of Hope Society
Our Planned Giving program affords our donors the joy and satisfaction of knowing you are helping to ensure that Hope Hall will continue to help children with special learning needs achieve success in the classroom and beyond. Members of the Legacy of Hope Society are listed on a plaque that recognizes their generosity.

Linda’s CupboardLinda Foster

Linda’s Cupboard opened in October 2010 in loving memory of Sister Diana Dolce’s sister, Linda Foster. Parents, faculty, staff, and supporters can donate food pantry items and household products to Linda’s Cupboard on a weekly basis. Every Thursday, food and other necessities are donated to Hope Hall families who struggle to make ends meet. Families are chosen based on their income level and family size.

Special thank you to Linda’s mom, Mrs. Betty Dolce, and to her brother and brother-in-law, Rob Dolce and Doug Lennox, for all they do to keep Linda’s Cupbord open and running carefully.

Thank you, also, to Sue Satter and Diane Camelio for the many hours they spend stocking shelves, Nikki Pagani, Kathy Della Porta, and JoAnn Belle-Isle who help with the shopping, to the teachers and staff of Hope Hall who contribute to the Cupboard weekly.

Currently, Linda’s Cupboard is in need of the following non-perishable items:

  • Cereal (no sugar added)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Tuna Fish
  • Canned Fruits and Vegetables
  • Dish Soap
  • Grape Jelly
  • Canned or Boxed Soups
  • Ground Coffee
