Students at Hope Hall enjoy participating in various after-school clubs and activities. Each year, the school and teachers determine which clubs will be offered, based on the interests of the students, so club activities vary from year to year.
The following clubs have been offered to students in the past. For more information or if you have questions, please reach out to your homeroom teacher:
Art Club – (Winter and Spring) Mr. Aydin Ture hosts art club after school on Mondays and Thursdays. The goal is for the high school to attend on Mondays to continue to explore their creative language and potential after Art is no longer offered as a class. On Thursdays, Art Club is a recreational and skill building opportunity for the Middle School students.
Badminton – (March – May) – Coaches Zehr and Droegmoeller coach these programs that are open to students in Grades 3-12.
Basketball Open Gym (November Only) – Coaches Zehr and Droegmoeller coach these programs that are open to students in Grades 9-12.
Basketball (December – February) – Mr. Zehr and Mr. Droegmoeller coach these sports programs that are open to students in Grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Bounce ball – (March-May) Mr. Zehr and Mr. Droegmoeller coach these sports programs that are open to students in Grades 3-12.
Blackhawk Chorus (year-round) – Mr. Steve House directs the Blackhawk Chorus. Students of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join. Blackhawk Chorus rehearses twice a week after school to prepare for performances at our annual Winter Concert in December and Fine Arts Festival in June.
Run Club – (September – End of October) Coached by Mrs. Droegmoeller, Mrs. Trotta, and Mr. Zehr, this was our first ever competitive run club that Hope Hall has had, and helped students get prepared to run a 5K on Saturday, October 29.
Soccer (Indoor/Outdoor) – (September-November) – Mr. Zehr and Mr. Droegmoeller coach these programs that are open to students in Grades 3-12.
Volleyball – (September-November) – Coaches Zehr and Droegmoeller coach these programs that are open to students in Grades 3-12.
