For the past 25 years, Hope Hall has sold poinsettia plants to help raise funds to meet our operational budget. This year, our budget is over $3 million dollars. Approximately one-third of this budget comes from tuition. The remainder comes from gifts, grants, and fundraising efforts, such as our holiday poinsettia sale.
This year, due to scarcity and rising costs as a result of the COVID pandemic, the cost of the poinsettias from the growers has increased. We are selling beautiful poinsettia plants in 6” foil pots for $12.00 each, as a fundraiser. These plants are very hearty, last a long time, and make wonderful gifts for the holiday season. We will also include the lovely folktale about the poinsettia on a postcard, that is shared on the flyer below, perfect to include as a unique gift tag.
Money must accompany orders. Please return the order forms and cash or check to school by Friday, December 3, 2021. On December 16-17 or 20-22, orders can be picked up at Hope Hall, located at 1612 Burralo Road, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Please invite family, friends, colleagues, and employers to buy a plant, and please don’t forget to purchase some as a gift to yourself! Thank you in advance for your help in spreading the word and for your support of our students!
