The Senior year is arguably the most important year to most students. That’s why we’re asking for your help to ensure that, after the past two unprecedented years, our rising Seniors have a positive, memorable experience to maximize their learning and to celebrate their time at Hope Hall.
On July 19th at 12 Noon, Hope Hall launched a crowdfunding campaign through A Community Thrives, a project-based, online fundraising program of the Gannett Foundation. Our success in raising $6000 for the Senior Success Scholarship Fund will open the door to being eligible to apply for competitive grants of up to an additional $100,000.
The Senior Success Scholarship Fund will help fund our Seniors’ final year of education, preparing them for life after high school. Hope Hall’s unique educational model includes traditional academics taught in a multi-sensory format, as well as woodworking courses, which teach hard skills such as math, design, and machine work, along with soft-skills like teamwork, problem solving, and critical thinking. The College and Career transitions classes are designed to assist our seniors in learning resume writing, how to complete financial aid packages, financial management, and much more. They also have the opportunity to do job shadowing, college visits, and career exploration activities.
This online crowdfunding campaign will be open through August 13th. Won’t you please go to HopeHall.org and click on Support Our Senior Success Scholarship Fund to Open Doors on the home page? With your help, we will not only exceed our $6000 goal, but through A Community Thrives, your gift will have the opportunity to be multiplied many times over. Thank you in advance for your help.
