CFO, Alicia L. Hart Becomes New Associate Executive Director
We are pleased to announce that Hope Hall has created a new position of Associate Executive Director. This position is the result of long-range planning efforts by the Board of Trustees and members of Hope Hall’s Senior Leadership team. The Associate Executive Director will help alleviate Sister Diana of some of her many day-to-day responsibilities, while maintaining the responsibilities of Human Resource Officer and overseeing the Finance Department.
A Search Committee worked with a firm called JK Executive Strategies to fill this vital role. This firm screened over 170 applicants and conducted a thorough screening process. It turned out that the perfect candidate for the position of Associate Executive Director was right here at Hope Hall!
Alicia L. Hart, our Chief Financial Officer for the last four years, has been named Hope Hall’s first-ever Associate Executive Director. Alicia holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Thinking and Leadership from RIT. In addition to her role as CFO for Hope Hall, she is also our HR Officer and Child Nutrition Director. She loves our school, is passionate about our mission, knows our parents, and embodies our Hope Hall culture. Alicia is well-liked and highly trusted by our faculty and staff, she understands our finances, and already works closely with Sister Diana and members of Hope Hall’s Senior Leadership Team. During COVID, Alicia even served as a substitute teacher in some of our classes when teachers were out.
We are truly fortunate to have someone of Alicia’s caliber in this position. During the 2023-2024 school year, we will begin the search for a new Director of Finance. Alicia will continue in her HR role and transition some of her responsibilities to others while working closely with Sister Diana to learn her new role.
